I just placed an order for my new bedframe and a rolling drawer cart today. Very excited—they’ll be shipping to my friend’s house who will be helping me move my mattress in just under a month.

I’m staying at the Chamberlain West Hollywood this week for work. They’re doing a renovation of the place—I think they’ve taken away some of the charm by removing the old wall coverings and using a kind of dull tan paint instead. What a shame.

In just about two months I’ll be moving out of Manhattan and back to Brooklyn. I lived in Bay Ridge at almost the end of the R line for five years, but this time I’ll be right in the middle of downtown (Fort Greene if you want to get technical about it), just a few minutes’ walk away from DUMBO and the Navy Yard and just a couple blocks from practically every single subway line...
